Welcoming a new baby is a life-changing experience, and the right support can make all the difference. As a birth doula serving most of Connecticut and parts of Massachusetts, my goal is to help mamas prepare, feel confident, and step into birth with knowledge and calm assurance. What’s Included:

• Two prenatal appointments (minimum), tailored to your needs. I like to meet with Mama and Dad together, if possible. These appointments can include:

  • Crafting your birth plan together

  • Educational resources about pregnancy, labor, and postpartum

  • Coaching on comfort measures and coping strategies

  • Preemptively addressing fears, questions, or concerns

• Access to my full library of digital resources, including:

  • Home birth supply checklist

  • Hospital bag packing list

  • Midwife interview questions

  • Additional guides and tools to help you prepare with confidence

• Continuous support during labor and birth — I will be there with you from the time you need me until after your baby is in your arms, offering hands-on comfort, encouragement, and advocacy.

• Postpartum visit within the first two weeks, to check in, debrief your birth experience, and support your transition into life with your baby.

• Ongoing communication by phone, text, or email during pregnancy and the early postpartum period.

The first call isn’t about diving into birth plans or medical details, it’s about you and me getting to know each other. Your birth team can make or break your experience, and I believe it’s so important that we click. My role should feel like an addition to your strength, not a distraction or a drain.

I’m not the right doula for everyone, and that’s okay. What matters most is that you feel supported and at ease with the people you choose to have by your side. Our conversation is simply to see if my presence feels right for you.

My Philosophy

I believe that a woman’s body is made for birth. For most women, interventions do more harm than good — yet the medical system is often incentivized to not support a natural, physiological birth. Too often, mamas are pressured to give birth on someone else’s imagined schedule instead of being trusted to let their bodies and their babies do what they are designed to do — in their own time, when they are ready.

I support home births, birth center births, and hospital births. I also believe medical interventions absolutely have their place, and when they are truly necessary, I am in full support of using them. But my goal — and the goal of the mamas I work with — is to experience birth naturally and without interventions unless they are actually, medically needed.

There are other philosophies, and there are doulas who align beautifully with those. If you are a mama who wants to schedule a c-section for convenience, or who plans to ask for an epidural the moment you walk through the hospital doors, you absolutely have that right, but I am probably not the right doula for you.

On the other hand, if your goal is an intervention-free birth, if you are willing to educate and prepare yourself, and if you want someone by your side who believes in your body’s ability to birth, then I may be exactly who you’re looking for. And if birth takes an unexpected turn and interventions become necessary, you can know with certainty that I will be there, supporting you wholeheartedly, every step of the way.

Investment

Choosing a doula is about more than hiring a service. It’s about choosing someone to stand by you during one of the most important moments of your life. The preparation, knowledge, and support you receive are designed to give you the best chance at the birth experience you want.

The complete doula support package is $1,200. This is a one-time, flat fee that covers prenatal visits, continuous support throughout labor and birth, postpartum follow-up, and access to all of my resources, with no hidden costs or hourly limits.
